New Host Location For 2026

Jeep Food Ride is excited to announce our new host location and sponsor, Dahl Automotive.

The Dahl family legacy in La Crosse began in 1915 when Harry and Chet Dahl expanded their father Andrew's regional Ford Model T business into the city. Now a fifth-generation enterprise, Dahl Automotive operates the fifth-oldest continuous Ford dealership in the United States and runs the Dahl Auto Museum in downtown La Crosse. Alongside their business growth, the family is highly regarded for its multi-generational community philanthropy. Through corporate initiatives like the annual "Lube-A-Thon" fundraiser and campaigns like "Subaru Share the Love," Dahl Automotive routinely donates tens of thousands of dollars to crucial local organizations, including the La Crosse Area Family YMCA and the Family and Children’s Center to aid child abuse prevention. They further cement their civic impact through the Dahl Family Foundation, which provides grants supporting humanitarian aid, education, the arts, the homeless, and Scouting America.

We are humbled to have the support of such an amazing organization and family. Please note we will be decorating Jeeps at the Dahl Subaru facility, entering from the 3rd Street side through the service bay entrance.

Our 2026 Goal - 8000 Food Items!

Our 24th year continued the tradition of success. Establishing our event as a 501(c)(3) public charity increased donations from our sponsors, the community, and our friends at Oktoberfest. We were able to donate over 9300 food items to the Coulee Region's hungry. The meter directly below shows the cumulative progress from all groups for 2025.

Please note: We are all feeling the effects of inflation, and a dollar doesn't go as far as it used to. At Jeep Food Ride, we only purchase staple items, including canned fruits and vegetables, soups, cereals, baking goods, pasta, sauces, and other essentials. When we started Jeep Food Ride, each food item we purchased cost less than $1, on average. In 2025, that cost averaged out to about $2 per food item. Every food item and every dollar makes a difference - no donation is too small, and every donation is appreciated!

Jeep Food Ride is now a Bad Axe Foundation event! We are a recognized as a 501(c)(3) public charity. Your donations to Bad Axe Foundation and its events, including Jeep Food Ride, are tax-deductible. This recognition affirms the charitable mission at the heart of everything we do.
