Welcome to the registration for the Jeep Food Ride. Registration is free and easy and enables us to run the evening smoothly. You will need to register each Jeep you are bringing separately if you have more than one Jeep in your group!

The need for help for the hungry in our communities never takes a year off! Make the drive and join us for the lighted parade and food donation. This ride is conducted in conjunction with Rotary Lights, La Crosse. There is no monetary admission but donations are welcome. We do require at least two (2) full grocery bags of non-perishable food per adult on your Jeep.

Can't make it on the 21st? Not a Jeeper? You can still donate below and help us reach our 2024 goal of 6000 food items. Your monetary donation will be applied when we shop in bulk for the food we'll be donating. On average, with current inflation, $2.25 = 1 food item.

Space is limited to 45 Jeeps! Please do not complete this registration unless you are sure you are able to attend! Thank you for helping us help the hungry! We'll see you on December 21st, 2024!

Our 2025 Goal - 6000 Food Items!

Our 23rd year continued the tradition of success. Donations from our sponsors, the community, and our friends at Oktoberfest helped us donate over 7200 food items to the Coulee Region's hungry. The meter directly below shows the cumulative progress from all groups for 2025.

Please note: We are all feeling the effects of inflation, and a dollar doesn't go as far as it used to. At Jeep Food Ride, we only purchase staple items, including canned fruits and vegetables, soups, cereals, baking goods, pasta, sauces, and other essentials. When we started Jeep Food Ride, each food item we purchased cost less than $1, on average. In 2024, that cost was about $2 per food item. Every food item and every dollar makes a difference - no donation is too small, and every donation is appreciated!

NEW FOR 2025 - Jeep Food Ride is now a Bad Axe Foundation event! Over the last several years, Jeep Food Ride has received an increasing number of inquiries about its 501(c)(3) status. Jeep Food Ride was always reluctant to become a 501(c)(3) as the application and filing process would negatively impact the funds available to purchase food for that year. In October of 2025, Jeep Food Ride Founder Eric Loewenhagen made the decision to form Bad Axe Foundation and seek 501(c)(3) status. We have filed our application for recognition as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The government shutdown is delaying all applications. If approved, our exemption will be retroactive to our incorporation date of October 30th, 2025, and contributions received on or after that date will be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Join us at TimeOut Tavern in La Crescent after the parade. TimeOut Tavern has a variety of food and beverages to warm you after the ride.

Jeep Food Ride is a free event. We do not charge an admission fee to attend. All we ask is that you bring a minimum of two (2) full bags of non-perishable food per adult in your Jeep to participate in the Jeep Food Ride.

If you wish to make an additional monetary donation, we will add your donation to our bulk shopping the before the ride to be donated during the parade.

Note to Oktoberfest USA Donors: Be sure to select your group below so you are credited properly in the competition.

Win a Jeep Jamboree USA Entry! For donations of $50 or more, you'll be entered to win entry for two, courtesy of Jeep Jamboree USA (Prize is for a single Jeep, excludes Adventure, Expedition, or Signature trips. Does not includes travel expenses or lodging. Estimated value is $700-$1100. Other exclusions may apply).

$50 = 1 entry, $100 = 3 entries, $200 = 7 entries, above $200 scales appropriately.
Non-Jeep owners may opt for a gift certificate to Time Out Tavern (for locals) or a VISA gift card (outside La Crosse area). Certificate value will be at least $100.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in any part of this event, I HEREBY RELEASE all personal, trail guides, land owners, support staff, supporting organizations, parent
corporations, subsidiaries, officers, directors, promoters, sponsors, employees, and agents ("releases") of all liability to me, whether caused by the negligent act or omission of releases or otherwise while I am for any purpose participating in such event. I fully understand that there is some inherent risk associated with this event, including damage to vehicles.

IN ADDITION, I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS the releases from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they incur due to such participation by me and any passengers (including minors) whether caused by releases' negligence or otherwise, and AGREE TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK for any bodily injury, death, or property damage from releases' negligence or otherwise while participating at this event.
